This lobby is iconic to GATEway the way I feel like the Marriott carpet is to Dragoncon XD

I have arrived safely to the hotel and am chilling in the lobby while I wait for room access! Now is the time to say hi before I get ready for event prep :)

Just a little poke to the universe that I got laid off from my narrative job and am currently looking for work ( '.')/ I don't have a big long resume because I'm a trans woman without a career pedigree who came out before she entered the workforce and people don't hire those but my writing's good 🫪

My eidetic memory loves shit like this, idyllic dream was truly a dream. Our static start was "em remembers everything but your individual tethers". I'm excited to get to that point for p4!

Static saw p4 in UMAD tonight and I'm actually shaking at fully oneshotting all my personal debuffs, that shit was insane. I truly ingrained that fight during the race

I'm not allowed to get a tattoo of a thing until I've wanted it for at least 9 months without wavering so it's never a light decision, but I have an idea for it and if I still want it by summer next year I'll get it.

Queliot tattoos I am considering: - 'Braver' - Proof of Concept - the key from the mosaic ... the more I think about this the more I believe I can combine all the concepts into a single geometrical motif

Linen is so friendly to sew and so nice to wear, it's well worth the time it takes to work with it. Have fun with your robes!!

It looks so clean!!! This kind of linen is ideal for these robes, I hope the project goes well and your robes are comfortable!!

Completely other note, that jacket he's wearing in episode 10 that buttons up and then literally cinches around a turtle neck with a leather choker should be ILLEGAL, why is that so hot

Eliot has 2 volumes of his book next to Quentin's novel length first volume I'm gonna

100

Em 🌃 @ GATEway FATE @emunarum.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Watching Magicians s1 again to compare to the books since I'm now reading those and holy shit it is apparent that Eliot fell so hard and fast and really didn't know what to do about it, ever. He's iconic but it's also like seeing the worst version of myself in the mirror. What a man. I want him.

I curled the ponytail and used a proper adhesive to glue feathers and beads around the base. I actually used pipe cleaners for the string beads to add more structure and was thrilled with the result

Got the structure of the ponytail covered with my remaining wefts and hit the whole thing with a truly heinous amount of gel and hairspray. It's incredibly lightweight and all that left is feathers and beads!

Okay the base is done and I'm really proud of it! The ponytail angle isn't exactly what I want but it's a good compromising between length and propping up the detailing. I have so e ideas on that but overall I'm really happy with how this is turning out

Update I finished one side of the hairline tonight and unfortunately I'm doing it well. What have I become.

140

Em 🌃 @ GATEway FATE @emunarum.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I got the silly little bang covered and started refining the hairline for fit. You can tell where I stopped to make more wedge and let them dry overnight, but the important thing this is working and I'll be able to move on to the fun part of detailing soon.
