Oops, I forgot I had this account! Here's what I've been up to..

A large group of handmade tiles in progress. They are each 2x2 inches in size and depict various sea creatures. The artists hand is in the picture, holding one small octopus tile for scale. The clay is still soft and needs to air dry fully before the glazing and firing process can occur.

Also, on a related note, I can't thank you enough for helping me choose a tile press, you've changed my life, profoundly, for the better!

Time is the one thing there's never enough of! It's a great idea, though! I try to spread the love through referrals when anyone requests a design that I know another tile artist already offers. The handmade tile community is so generous and helpful.

Another order off to Virginia! So far this year, I've been sending so many tiles southeast to places like Maryland, Virginia, and the Carolinas. Thanks, y'all!

I hope you like spiders! The person who ordered this set certainly does. These are heading to Arkansas to add a unique design element to a bathroom remodel. 🕷

Installation photos always put a smile on my face! I'm very pleased with how this fireplace in a South Carolina beach house turned out. Love the coastal theme. Thanks so much, TK, for making my tiles part of your home and for sending pictures!

If I were in the greater Toronto area, I would definitely attend the art opening at the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery this weekend. I'm delighted to be one of the 12 artists who had the privilege of collaborating with enamel artist Tim Laurin in his current exhibition. Thanks for the photos, Tim!

My tiles are in a book! "Handmade Tiles: Creative Techniques" by Marion Brandis features techniques from a broad range of amazing tilemakers, and it is such an honor to be among them. If you're interested in learning to make handmade tiles, I highly recommend this book... emutile.com/blogs/handma...

Hello! I'm giving this place a try. These are some tiles I'm working on. They have been fired once and will be glazed and fired again. 🎨🌈
