I sat vigil through the night for the first time, much of it by myself. It was an intensely moving experience, and I'm glad I did it. 030

Came to the Episcopalian church this year and bawled my way through the whole service. After being told for year after year that people like me weren't welcome in the church, it felt like finally coming home. 170
