I will fully admit that it feels young for a "secondary education". if you arent a massive fan of dark academia, i dont think its worth forcing tbh. I LOVE DA so it was a massive vibes/popcorn read for me

add to clarify; the lack of direction meaning that in some places she overexplains herself and it others it just says "now do this" and nothing more. id prefer older pattern style that is not handholding but direct. this was somewhere in between in a way that made me MORE confused

2/2 even if the sizing was right, many mention that the button band, the bottom ribbing, the lack of sleeve ribbing instructions, etc were just.... unpolished instruction feeling that being said; i really hope this persons patterns improve and i do love how this turned out! Thank you 💖

yes my gauge was a bit smaller! But my issue with this pattern tbqh is; it is very Instagram. It *looks* wonderful, but the instructions to get here were wayyy harder than it needed to be. this person just hasnt been knitting long enough. (1/2)

For a first piece, this looks great! My first one looks wavy because I kept loosing stitches and picking them up later. so wavy edges and holes. but it is so funny to go back and look at how much i improved between year 1 and 2

Honestly, valid af! I put quotes up at work and sold like 3 people on it. I will think about how wonderful this book was everyday

Quotes:
"Just being perceived, all the time being perceived, was exhausting"
"but you're not a bad person trying to get good. You're a sick person trying to get well."
"There is no difference to the outside world between a good guy and a bad guy behaving like a good guy"

("I * wasn't supposed to feel" lol)

110

Emily @emreads56.bsky.social · 01/12/2025

I love the books of all the media versions. The book Geralt is a man/nonhuman who tries to down play the little emotions he does have. "I was supposed to feel and THEY BOTCHED IT. They botched it and I DO feel things Yen." He is weird to people. He wasnt supposed to feel but kinda does. + Ciri is 💯💖
