Arcade Archives has also released TwinBee and Detana! TwinBee in an official capacity, although I would never encourage anyone to purchase digital versions of classic games. There's lots of TwinBee games, so its probably time for them to release a collection.

Despite Konami's best efforts to protect the American eye from seeing pastel colors, if you've ever been to a flea market and seen a 300 in 1 bootleg game machine, you've seen and possibly even played TwinBee, as its a staple game on these ROM collections.

TwinBee is so cute and colorful in fact, that only one game has gotten a release in the US, and it was renamed "Stinger" so that hardcore American gamers wouldn't have to say something embarrassing at the checkout counter like "I would like one TwinBee 2, please". Otomedius got a US release. 😒

So you end up with something just as easy to remove from the sink but then you're looking at an electrician's job to get it off the power. Still very simple, but suddenly dangerous for no reason. Had to learn this lesson when mine broke and I just terminated the wire and live without one.

Pain in the ass about these things is that they are supposed to be on a switched outlet (they plug in to the wall but the wall outlet has a light switch) for safety. Some contractors take the cheap/lazy way out and just skip the socket, opting to splice the disposal to the switch.

100% learn to do your own oil changes too. Kills me when I hear someone paying $90+ to do basic maintenance that you can knock out in a few hours or less provided you have the correct tools. Brakes as well because they're secretly easy, but I get the trepidation given that doing it wrong = dead

To call it "Gradius" music is a little inaccurate, since it's more like the music of the arcade board itself, and in fact the first game to utilize the board was TwinBee. It even got reused in Detana!! TwinBee, so truly, this is TwinBee music? Well, Gradius Galaxies reused it, too.

It *was* in Smash 4 3DS exclusively in Smash Run. No stage played it otherwise and it couldn't be selected in the music selector. It's entirely absent from Ultimate. The version of the track that *can* be selected is Dark Pit's Theme, a more "action" version, used in battle with him.

Like, people were stoked as hell for Proto Man just assuming he was Mega Man 2 and then they showed he's a totally reworked character. Bass has obviously been playable before and even Duo in the arcade games, so I'd think there's more ROI on more Proto Mans.

Adopting the Smash Bros strategy might just be some new marketing idea to drum up hype since Mega Man doesn't do the kind of numbers shareholders like to see. It's just really funny to me how these one-off bosses would be where you put that spotlight, rather than actual characters.

For 9, 10 and 11 they'd have whichever stage theme is the coolest play over the gameplay footage and maybe show one or two bosses with the rest being menacing silhouettes and then launch soon after. This does feel like the longest away from release we've known of a Mega Man game.

I'm really confused how we got to this situation where Mega Man robot master reveals are getting treated with the same level of hype you'd expect from fighting game character reveals. I know we've got a lot of tourists in every game nowadays but you can't play as these guys.

This game wasn't released in the US until it was included on the Mega Man X Collection (back when compilation games had bonuses, rather than being split into 2 for no reason other than greed), but it still gets to be "Mega Man" and not "RockMan" because it had a European release.
