On a trip to PEI, we had the opportunity to spend the night in the room Lucy Maud Montgomery stayed in at her grandparents‘ house. The owner was horrified when my wife confessed she was unfamiliar with Anne of Green Gables.

This little box of blue plastic wrapped in white leatherette forever changed my life when I got it as a Christmas present in December 1970. Music became my constant companion and my life had a soundtrack emanating from the studios of WOKY-AM in Milwaukee. My sister got a red round one.

The Making Memories B4 I Die of Cancer Tour made its latest iteration with a New England Sampler. Flew into Boston, did a DownEast Maine coastal tour, Acadia NP, tooled across NH and picked up VT 100 scenic byway in Stowe. Completed with a visit to Saratoga Nat‘l Historic Park.
