For #FebruArty day 4, the prompt is #purple. “Fantasy”, a #collage and #acrylic on canvas piece I created last spring, came to mind. #FebruArty2025 #art #artsky #booksky

I enjoyed #JanuArty so much that I’ve decided to join in on #FebruArty. Today it’s crossing over with #blueskyartshow with a prompt of #light. This is a photo I took at the #ChicagoBotanicGarden during their holiday light show two years ago. #art #artsky

Finishing up #JanuArty with a combined response to the prompts #Curve and #Angle. This is a piece I sold in an upcycled art show over the summer. It definitely has curves, and this photo I took to show the details on the edges provides an interesting angle. #JanuArty2025 #art #artsky #collage

A French bulldog wears a jacket resembling a strawberry with a strawberry blossom on its head for a hat. It sits on a leaf with a white flower on a pink, blue, and green painted background. The sides of the canvas are painted and collaged with strawberries and strawberry blossoms.

Day 30 of JanuArty is #green. This one is a little bit holiday-feeling, but is one of my pieces with the most green in it. #JanuArty2025 #digitalillustration #art #artsky

TFW the UX book starts reading like emo song lyrics. 🖤

Day 25 of #JanuArty is #Vegetable. It’s no secret that I love #potatoes. Back in undergrad, when I studied in London, I was delighted to learn that baked potatoes are called jacket potatoes. That’s the inspiration behind my piece today. #JanuArty2025 #procreateart #motionillustration #artsky #art

#JanuArty Day 23 is #Opposites. “Brown bear, brown bear, what do you see?” For this one, I went with a couple of very different bears, exemplifying natural vs artificial and large vs small. #JanuArty2025 #digitalillustration #procreateart #wildlifeart #art #artsky #cuteart #katmai #brownbears

A brown bear’s face takes up the foreground, with its snout in the center of the canvas. Balancing on its snout is a small blue gummy bear. The bear is looking at the gummy bear. The forest in the background is blurred.

Good morning, Bsky! Today’s #JanuArty prompt is #monochrome. Please enjoy these silly blue footed boobies, aka my favorite type of bird ever. #JanuArty2025 #birdart #digitalart #procreateart #artsky #bluefootedbooby

The #JanuArty prompt for today is #happy. I appreciate the notion that art that inspires happiness is especially needed during dark times. When considering which of my pieces might be up for the task, I could think of none more worthy than this rainbow unicorn. 🌈 🦄 #art #JanuArty2025 #mixedmedia

Hello and thank you for the art share! I'm Emily, and I love to create art centered around animals, magic/folklore, and whimsy. I work in multiple mediums, including acrylic, watercolor, colored pencil, collage, and digital. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite digital illustrations.

A large grey mug of steaming hot cocoa sits on a counter in front of a window. Inside the mug are three Totoro-shaped marshmallows. Outside the window is a tree-lined road with a bus stop sign. Rain drops drip down the window.

A turquoise ocean with three large boulders, one behind the other leading into the horizon line. A pink and purple sunset is in the background. On the boulder closest to the foreground sits an orange tabby cat with the tail of a mermaid.

A massive grey cat peers menacingly over two gingerbread-style houses. Misty snow covered mountains are behind the cat. In front are giant paw prints in the snow leading to the place the cat is sitting. Evergreen trees are situated around the houses.

In a dark forest, a fox plays a guitar, a bear plays a banjo, and a chipmunk and squirrel dance to the music by the light of a big harvest moon.

Good morning, Bluesky! Today’s #JanuArty prompt is #yellow. Here is a rubber ducky I sold over the summer in a local gallery’s show of upcycled artwork. Made with #upcycled magazine and junk mail clippings and acrylic paint on canvas. #JanuArty2025 #art #artist #collage #assemblage #mixedmediaart
