Roze is already inspired by 40k Commissars and she finally got her VW-equivalent Commissar fit in EoTO 🫡 #art #illustration #webcomic

Rozelin "Roze" Hera stands firmly with her sword, Kigoku, and in the full uniform of an Exemplus Sharlugal of the Magna Indominus. Having taken it from her nemesis and former commanding officer, she never got the chance to earn the coat for herself before. Her gaze is sharply affixed toward the camera with her sharp Cerhdian purple eyes.

A piece I did some weeks ago with Poppy in the later events of EoTO :) #art #illustration #oc

Poppy Frost stands kneeling partially down, prepared to move from cover to cover in a side alcove of an industrial and militarized facility. She holds determined expression, looking towards the greater opening of the facility. The architecture is reminiscent of old Mesopotamian works with polished metal detailing that lies somewhere between gold and bronze, contrasted by high-tech equipment and armed personnel. Poppy is reloading one of her two SPAS-12s while in cover behind a chest-high wall divider, gunshots trailing from above. A dead personnel lies beside her and on the other side of the divider, the floor littered with shell casings from Poppy's shotguns. The bright light of explosions from the other side indicate a further fight around the strange facility.

Concept piece of Manhattan Cafe ☕(reup- I forgot her tail 💀) #art #illustration #umamusume

Manhattan Cafe seen falling through a void, from a shining white light to a glittering golden light, with her right arm reaching out. Her "special friend" hovers above as they look at each other eye to eye as a thick black fog spills from Cafe's neck.

Fenomeno is too nice to really be like other cops (ACAB!), I think she'd fight police corruption head on and do the right thing (maybe not like this, but hey art is art). I wanted this to be a fun study on 90's anime art styles too! #art #illustration #umamusume

Fenomeno in her race wear, but with extra accessories: kneepads, arm warmers underneath her coat, heavy duty gloves, smoke grenades, and a leg holster on her right leg. She is holding a Minebea PM-9 and firing it off somewhere off-screen. The style choices are meant to study 90's anime art styles and thus has film grain, lighter and more desaturated yet vibrant colors, and more stylized eyes than usual. She is illustrated on her own and mid-run, as if firing off her firearm while seeking cover or an exit, while in a streetside shootout.

Agnes Tachyon as the head researcher for a secretive research organization +a cleaner, happier version of this render to see the full range of detail. #art #illustration #umamusume

Agnes Tachyon, standing with her left arm curled towards her while she wears an amused expression. She wears her race attire with a name badge saying "HEAD RESEARCHER" with her name and face on it, partially covered by her coat. The background is of vibrant colors in the shape of her silhouette surrounded by stars to produce a manual chromatic aberration inspired by her racing scenes in the Beginning of a New Era movie.

An injured Ariane lays on what remains of Elster aboard the Penrose-512 in the gestalt officer bunk. Her arms are around Elster as she lays asleep, crying as she dreams. Oxidant fluid adorns the vicinity where Elster fell, including on herself.

Dancing together at the end of the world, together again for the first time in almost a decade: Ceres Aavik and Sofia Natali at the end of the war, the end of ACT I, in EoTO (the Signalis inspiration is striking). #art #illustration #oc #d&d

Ceres and Sofia holding each other close in a waltz, with Ceres in her kit and equipment while Sofia is in a messy and torn white sundress. They are both heavily injured: Ceres having exposed cyborg internals and profuse head bleeding, Sofia hesvily bandaged having peeled skin and makeshift gauze alongside bleeding and developing gangrene from frostbite on her hands (unseen- also legs). They look in each other's eyes lovingly as they stand within the trinket that Sofia was contained in for the entire war, shooting stars passing behind them in the twilight Kishar sky.

If I don't seem to respond, look like I post often, or otherwise have much of a presence then that is by design- I have been intentionally been cutting out most forms of social media so that I'm not so chronically online and glued to scrolling down my feed when I'm remotely bored. Everything is ok!

A quick comic I made from a moment during EoTO where Ceres was checking in on her wife, and smiling for once as a result. #art #illustration #d&d #oc

Ceres is laying alone in bed aboard The Oracle, solemnly checking in on her fiance in her internment. Ceres seemingly does so by checking in on a small pocket device with a color screen, which shows Sofia looking back at Ceres with a cheerful smile and a heart in a speech bubble. Seeing this, Ceres smiles softly at the device.

My partner had her PC in EoTO be inspired by Elster anyways (and her partner by Ariane), but I hadn't drawn them together in Signalis-inspired ways, so here's Ceres (L) and Sofia (R) clearly inspired by Signalis. #art #illustration #oc #d&d

B+W render of Sofia and Ceres asleep with the former leaning on the latter's shoulder, similar to the memory aboard the Penrose of Elster and Ariane. Also similarly to Signalis's story, this night for Ceres and Sofia occurred just before the one that led to the chain of events that brought Ceres into 998 and took Sofia away from her.

"I was the puppet you lied to and constantly played; I am your beast, now deal with the monster you made." Really wanted to do art w/ Poppy inspired by the #IAmYourBeast album art (an album btw appropriately called "I AM YOUR BEATS). #art #illustration #oc #tyrantsbetterrun

Poppy Frost in her mid-war Argent vest and sweater fit, holding a just-fired standard issue handgun with the smoke still present. Many red Xes are adorned behind her, signifying confirmed kills with one emboldened in white to signify a confirmed kill that very second. Poppy stands in motion, moving from one side and hair swept leftward. She stands in a northern North American forest adorned with birch and pine, stylistically illustrated in pale purple tints.

"The police are powerless to stop him" "Nature is a place of violence and carnage, and we wouldn't have it any other way." Inspired by #PAYDAY2 and #PAYDAY3's Jacket, a sketch I did of Dakt that I felt like adding more to. #art #illustration #oc

Dakt, "Arin Summit", posed up for a movement sketch that I felt like adding more effects to: a background, blur effects, a film grain, and text reading,
"The following is approved for mature audiences only"
"Emoticomm productions presents..."
"Synthwave Bloodbath"

I tend to play the hardest difficulties in games for the most fun for me, especially ones I've never played before. Probably sensory seeking. Side effect is that it tells me which devs know how to make a balanced diff system or if they made "hard to be hard" stuff, latter isn't as replayable imo.

(non-canon) Dr. Peterson talks with Commander Ira about sending Poppy and Ceres into the GATE Facility. Ira is worried Poppy and Ceres are too unhinged to get out alive, despite Dr. Peterson's objections:

Ira: "You sent them WHERE?"
DrP: "Do not worry yourself, Poppy and Ceres can handle themselves."
Ira: "I'm not worried about them DYING, I'm worried about them being too HORNY to complete the mission!"
DrP: "I, yes, well...they otherwise are *competent* enough to handle themselves..."
Pop: "If you lick it, I'll let you choke me next time.
Cer: "Well...if that's what it'll take..."

Man, I wish I could but nothing I do could ever convince people to be interested in my art. Just how it is, I lack technique and identifiable style and am in the midst of figuring out how to navigate that.

I still second this. When I first rolled up on here in Oct '24 after not touching my acct here for ~1yr, I saw amateur art everywhere. I loved seeing people make art because they loved to, knowing we were on separate paths in our art journeys in skills. I hope they're still around.

This, as well as the two pieces inspired by I Am Your Beast that are regarding a spoiler event in EoTO, apparently have not been enough to satiate the discord between settling anger and reaffirming compassion in my mind regard what the US keeps doing to its people. Wake up, see news, get mad. Ugh.

I don't prefer to condone violence, as I would love the world to understand compassion even beyond the Eightfold Path. But I will condone defending ourselves, from being loud to every final measure, and especially to avoid authoritarianism and fascism.

#art #illustration #oc Was inspired by I Am Your Beast yet again to foreshadow a great cataclysm for Poppy that's far into the story of EoTO. I feel that with this one, I'm honing in on digital art more. A good step in the right direction hopefully. The weapons are their's, but this is your home.

Poppy Frost stands at the wake of a dirt trail in a rocky pine forest in the winter time. She's wearing unknown winter fatigues with warm orange trims, goggles, and light kit. Six bodies of those in the same gear lay before her, some with their own guns askew, each showing a different way how she killed them (R to L: punch, shotgun, thrown bear trap, thrown knife, shotgun, shotgun). The last one clings to life as Poppy stares scornful down at them. The shotgun shells of Poppy's own weapon are not seen. The early morning sun shines over the scene.

Not selfishness, but intrigue- fascinating seeing all who've blocked me. Makes me wonder what the reason was. Did you not like my openness to my autism? If it was a take, then it must be because of my wording or that they suck and not me. Did they not like how open-minded I was? Amusing.

It's a mind boggling experience to see so many people post AI slop of Trump and tacos to make fun of him. While I won't pass an opportunity to make fun of an authoritarian fascist, can we do it in a way that doesn't involve damaging both our planet's wellbeing and the dignity of creative minds?

My most recent art post (the one just before this) was in response to this feeling. I went out of my way to view tutorials and ask around. When I get mad about things, I tend to try to find the solution quicker than when I'm any other feeling about it. Always finding ways to improve every day.

I get it now. I know where my digital art struggles to go beyond amateurish. It's my use of color, the right blending modes of color, and what colors to use. It's my technical understanding of digital art software with color. I'm very mad at this because now I feel lost and unable to learn.
