And when I mean "misused", I mean people treat it as a universal truth. People being used like guinea pigs to test technology is not a healthy relationship. We should be more ready to reject tech that is obviously unhealthy or unhelpful to us.

"Technology moves faster than society" feels like such a misused phrase. Social needs should drive tech innovation. Technology should drive social progression. Technology being used to purposefully break society is not innovation, that's warfare.

Yes. There's a big chunk of America, about 40% of it, that is sparsely populated. A lot of it is just the mountains, but a good portion is fertile farmland that is taken advantage of. The country would feel less isolated if more of the country was just on the coasts.

Why does it feel like industry networking is so heavily gatekept? Like, I've worked in the games industry for almost 5 years now and I don't feel as if anyone gives me the time of day. There's not only a big brain drain going on, but a lack of stewardship
