It doesn’t always makes for the most riveting TV, I’ll admit, the pacing is iffy, but I do think it’s very often interesting commentary on the original text. 130

It’s way too late for Gwayne to actively stop the war, even if he really wanted to. I really even doubt that he‘s surviving at all. Alicent needs to end alone and so does Daeron even if they give us that empty tent. 100
