Marzetti Caramel dip (my fav kind) has a "Can't be sold in California" warning on it. 😭 Is nothing sacred? Why do companies want us all to get sick and d!e? 😷

Thomas Massie is a great example for why we need term limits. When they realize they only have so much time to get things done, the wheels turn faster. (Plus the obvious reasons of less corruption, bringing in different and new ideas and skill sets, adjusting to the changes of time...etc.) #Congress

Friendly suggestion to my fellow accounts with decent followings: it is a GREAT time to start a weekly art show with your account to boost indie artists/crafters. Everyone is struggling due to AI and Etsy becoming a toilet. We can't magically fix everything but we can help some individuals.

Just need to vent somewhere... My dad is being actively scammed by "women" he's been talking to via phone. He won't listen to me or anyone. Idk what to do. And I'm worried he's been sending pics of my child to these people or worse (our info.) I'm really really worried. Hate this.

You know what would make the world a better place right now is if they announced a new season of Star Trek: Lower Decks. That would course-correct us just a little bit.

Tbh, where do for-profit health systems get off? This was for an ER visit, and their initial "payment plan" is expecting me to take out the equivalent of a second mortgage to pay it? (Currently in the process of applying for financial aid.) Should also note that we lost our gov. health insurance.

Just watched Here on Earth... Holy cow, why does no one talk about this movie and why is it rated so poorly? The story-telling was slow, honest, and beautiful; and the imagery was the incredibly unique kind of story-telling that we just don't see as often anymore. DEFINITELY underrated. Wow. #Movies

I don't understand how the US government continues to allow the young generation especially to be EATEN ALIVE by corps. Debt is inevitable. If we don't have assistance or a REALLY good job, we can't afford to go to the doctor like we should or have the really good opportunities to advance.

Capitalism tells us from a young age to make profit. But, what if... We did things just for the benefit of our neighbors? We stopped reselling mass-manufactured objects for profit? We created something just for the fun of it?

My heart breaks for those big, beautiful toddler eyes that have seen so much horror; for that big, beautiful toddler heart that expects only love and has received so much pain; for that big, beautiful toddler imagination that cannot play, because all the playgrounds have been taken away. #Gaza

I'm not one for false optimism. But what I witnessed today in Minneapolis was tremendous, both in scale and exuberance. It was a stunning answer to the federal assault on Minnesota, a show of solidarity that gives us something to hold on to during times that are unforgiving.

“Everybody Showed Up”: Stunning Crowds at Minnesota Day of Strike and Shutdown Against ICE

Extreme cold didn't stop the shutdown on Friday as some 100 faith leaders were arrested, residents stayed home from work, and an estimated 50,000 or more marched through downtown Minneapolis.

Why do superhero shows/movies *love* to use the bare-bones "fishtank" prison prop? Where's their bed? What if they need to use the restroom? Do they just stand there all day? Is there any enrichment so they don't completely lose their minds? I have so many questions... 😅 Photo Cred: Supergirl, IMDB

Imagine if ANY other country started b*mbing civilians in a different country, took their oil shipments, captured and overthrew their government leader, and claimed the land's resources for their own. No matter how you feel about the people or countries involved in this situation, it is NOT right.

I can't tell you how much it SUCKS living in America without healthcare. I just saw a friend post baked goods they're selling to afford new medication that's going to cost them $400/month. Our government should be embarrassed they allow this to continue. Wtf.

I'd love to see #millionaire and billionaire philanthropy in the form of constant giveaways that better people, communities, and the economy. No catches. No purchases necessary. No data selling. Just throwing your name in a "hat" and winning things like solar on your house or a pool for your school.
