my tips for this are: 1 - Never use the discover feature 2- block any tending tabs 3 - make liberal use of the "hide post" feature Then you only see stuff from people you want to follow

Thats the reason I VPN out of the UK, I simply dont trust random websites with my sensitive data. All laws can tell them to protect it, their company policy can tell them to protect it, every employee can truly believe in data protection, and I still wont trust them. They WILL lose or sell your data

The most significant thing about requiring a credit card? Adults now cant access content unless a bank deems them worthy of one. That isnt an age restriction, its a social credit requirement, overseen by private banks. Capitalism is giving us the systems we were warned we would get under socialism
