is it just me or is youtube getting slower and more unusable by the day. like, i try to load a page and it takes an eternity, just to then complain about my adblock, then *finally* load the video. if pause then the video takes ages to actually pause, then sometimes it unpauses after a bit???

now i'm working a 07:00-14:15, which is fewer hours than the 10:00-18:00 but one of my customers tipped me $25 because i was slammed full of customers while working solo. so uh: to whoever that guy was, thank you <3 (even though they almost definitely don't use bsky/know me lmao).

one of my coworkers called out so i took a shift from 10:00-18:00 instead of my previous 14:00-20:00. more hours = good. then the coworker that was supposed to open woke up late, so my boss called me at 7 to ask if i could open. i was already awake from a nightmare so i said sure.

the bathrooms at my work have a little indicator on the door handle showing whether or not the door is locked, implying the presence of a person occupying that bathroom. somehow, every time i'm using the bathroom, somebody attempts to open the door despite the indicator presenting a red lock :/

just clocked out of the first shift. honestly... it's not that bad. it is just menial busy work (it's book processing at a thrift store) but i think it'll be good enough for me. also, getting paid $13/hr to sort books is leagues better than $10/hr to make smoothies and deal with customers
