Emma Tompkins @emmatompkins.bsky.social · 03/05/2025Watching Hank Green gently turn from funny internet science guy to fearless comedian is quite wonderful. Also, I can now never not think about the chewy decimal system every time I visit a supermarket. 010

Emma Tompkins @emmatompkins.bsky.social · 07/03/2025A very interesting chat with the CBT provider for the ME/CFS care team. She'd studied under a US trauma & somatic educated Dr and has piloted trauma therapy work with chronic illness patients. She even had to close the pilot after being overwhelmed with referrals. 100

Emma Tompkins @emmatompkins.bsky.social · 17/12/2024It will surprise no one to know that some of the best experiences of interactive theatre (inc Youth theatre) I have ever had have come from Coney. Considering the world ahead I can't quite square the logic of their loss. The talent held inside will endure I'm sure but it still smarts. 072
Emma Tompkins @emmatompkins.bsky.social · 28/11/2024I highly recommend the book 'Your brain on Art' for anyone trying to understand why we do what we do. It made me realise the Department of Health ought to merge with the Department of Culture. It's baffling to see this news from Australia considering the profound evidence supporting art therapies. 000
