same omg ☹️ she’s been making music recently (that i actually really like) so i’m not sure if she’s turning more to a focus on music or if she still wants to do both but omg totally get the blonde desire…happy to hear u loved it tho cause i felt like i was the only one 😭😭

@cicelyalaska.bsky.social don’t know if you’ve seen this one yet / if you’d be interested (and it can be slightly triggering) but think it might be up your alley with the theme being “women getting revenge” or “women breaking free from their expected molds they grew up in”

unrelated how have u been getting the spotify widget picture to show up when u link songs? i’ve tried it by copying the link + w/e but can’t seem to make it work

oh reprisal needs to be on this list too…abigail spencer’s performance in that show…too good. and madie 🩷 and the vague time period/grease plot vibes. very much a show made with me in mind TO BE HONESTTTTT

omg yea so true and they would also 100% would at least bring their kids back to visit the creek and see where they fell in love 🥺🥺🥺

brave my dislike of seafood/lobster for the possibility of imagining pjo in their own restaurant

120 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

like they would have their time to build a life and do things in new york + travel but i can so see them going back home and making it their own again ahhh the thought makes me a little teary…

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

i didn’t go in or anything bc it looked pricey + the group i was with don’t eat seafood / are gluten free + vegan (so it’s difficult to just try a place without vetting it first) but i wish i had gotten to see the inside

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

this was the place and it was like kind of propped up where it gave a feel like it was sitting on the water/it was next to a body of water with ships docked in it + had steps to lead up to it and in my head i was like excuse me ummmm are pacey witter and joey potter here. i would like to see them

111 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

oooooh yeah that’s a good idea, typically i want a hit of the ship scenes so that’s what i end up doing and boy are ship scene packs so helpful and half of why my editing never goes anywhere…LMAO

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

i should start trying to do a schedule like that but i have a feeling i would stick to it maybe once and then go “oh this show looks cool, let me add it to my list” or “saw an edit of __, now i wanna rewatch this too”

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

dawson’s creek got added to the rewatch list bc i saw a restaurant in RI that looked so similar to what i imagine a modern day version of the icehouse + that tweet that reminded me of pacey and the true love so. List got even longer 😭😭😭

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

exactly like 😭😭 so then i just end up on youtube instead and don’t watch anything at all which makes me mad at myself the next day when i have Responsibilities and No Free Time

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

sorry i typo’d the fuck out of my first tweets and i can’t stand to look at it

010 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

right now i want to finish: - the bear - ginny & georgia - maybe a new kdrama but i also want to rewatch: - love all play - degrassi - dawson’s creek - fringe - the law cafe - vincenzo (but i always want to rewatch vincenzo)

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

the problem with being someone who loves rewatching television shows is that at any given time, i want to watch/finish between 2-3 but also rewatch about 6 shows i love already

110 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 20/11/2023

and then i’m so torn between all my options that i just end up watching let’s plays of video games on youtube for 8 hours

i love this feeling like i have very little self control and always end up at least looking at edits but the few times where i look at Absolutely Nothing feels so good

010 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 25/10/2023

in my personal opinion yes, i could be biased since i love it so much and it’s a personal one for me but i feel like it’s a genuinely amazing story and was well received for good reason

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 25/10/2023

i’m still a bit skeptical in that i’m worried about them making her into the manic pixie dream girl trope but i feel like they’re leaning more into her being a real person with trauma + how it connects with idols being treated as commodities

000 0

sav 🩵🦢 @emmaswan.bsky.social · 25/10/2023

so far am really enjoying doona and the trajectory they appear to be taking with her being traumatized/having suffered from her idol life. think there’s a meaningful story to be told here if they do it properly
