I started reading this on Monday. My hubby bought it a few years back, and I've just got round to it. (I have a LOT of books!) Almost halfway through, and I'm loving it! 📖

Ah good stuff. No vets cups that I know of, but we've been lobbying Cambs FA for a women's vets league and we believe that's likely to happen next year. Our club runs a Women's Vets tournament - if the team's willing to travel to Cambridgeshire next summer, I'll add you to our mailing list 🙂

Congratulations!! That's immense. Does your club have any plans to create a women's team for over 35s? Just curious as we (Ely Women's Vets) are always looking to expand our network 🙂

I wasn't at that one, but the image of the team in black leggings does ring a bell. We had the last laugh 😏

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about the others. I've been to QPR and Oldham, but it was after the plastic era 😁 I imagine the burns would have been horrendous!

I remember John Vaughan (and possibly others) wearing tracky bottoms on Luton's plastic pitch. Were they the only club to have one back then? 🤔
