The dialogue here feels so natural you can really feel the tension and exhaustion of being on the run the line about counting five different tribes in that battle adds such a great layer of history to the story is Virgil usually the grounded voice of reason in Cerels group

Thats such a powerful way to use a character who has an impact on the whole story that line about none of them wanting to be like him and yet hits really hard did Aodh carve Furys form out of magical rock or is Fury literally a stone carved golem or entity that was brought to life

That twist at the end made me laugh, but Marcela’s storyline sounds so compellingly tragic. Imposter syndrome tied to unfair deity favor makes for such good character drama! Does Marcela eventually figure out the goddess is the problem or does she keep blaming herself for a while?
