Always great to get your dose of vitamin sea! I went to a few beaches - St.Ives, Mousehole, Penzance and Port Isaac. The weather was sunny with a few cloudy spots and it was great having a change of scenery and being to just chill! Whale inspired by my trip. #childrensillustrator #kidlitartist

I went on my jolly holls last week, which was great! It was nice to get a change of scenery and some fresh inspiration for new design work. I have two fabric collections coming out next year. Here are snippets from the Dino range 🦖🦕🌿 #illustrator #kidsillustrator #freelanceillustrator

Throwback Thursday when my Ocean book launched in spring this year. I'm sharing one of my initial drawings. These were painted using gouache. It was a fun project to work on. #childrensbookillustrator #ThrowbackThursday #kidlitartist #nonfictionillustrator #kidsillustrator #picturebookillustrator

Autumn Brown 🐌🍁🍂 When I've finished working on client projects, I want to play around with colour palettes. I'm thinking of adding more neutral colours which give a sense of comfort, calmness, warmth and natural balance. #autumnvibes #FallVibes #kidlitartist #nonfictionillustrator

Throwback to 5 years ago (can't believe this was back in 2021!). Autumn picnic 🦔🐁🍁 This is when I started to change my style and I love the mix or rich autumn colours in this piece. #autumnvibes #fall #illustrator #freelanceillustrator #childrensillustrator #nonfictionillustrator #kidlitartist

Autumn feels like it's on its way 🍄🍂 Here is a section of my latest mushroom pattern. I can see it made into giftwrap and also end papers for a kid's book. #mushrooms #autumnalvibes #illustrator #freelanceillustrator #licensingartist #licensingdesigner #fungi #patterndesigner #fallvibes

80s Japanese game art clearly influenced by Moebius, Druillet, Corben, etc. slaps so hard. This is one of my favorite illustrations ever.

Autumn shapes 🐞🍁🍄I must admit, autumn has some cool earthy colours (although I have added some brighter tones in this piece). Going outdoors is a good way for children to observe different shapes in nature. #kidlitartist #licensingartist #autumn #nonfictionillustrator #picturebookillustrator #fall

Such sad news to hear about the passing of Yayoi Kusama. An artist who became popular for her polka-dot sculptures and installations. I remember visiting one of her exhibitions in Manchester and being captivated by her large vibrant works and her lifetime devoted to her craft. RIP Yayoi Kusama ❤️

Love a pink 🩷 especially paired with other complimentary and contrasting colours, such as pink and red, pink and green, pink and orange etc... Do you have a favourite pink colour combo? #pink #illustrator #colourlovers #freelanceillustrator #childrensillustrator #licensingartist #kidsillustrator
