Had lots of fun presenting the livestream for the Natural History Museum, giving a first-look at the new exhibition Nature and Us. 🌟 There are so many incredible stories to explore in this gallery, which hasn’t been open to the public since the Second World War.

Spending a few days on an island nature reserve with no internet is highly recommended. 👌 📍 Looe Island Nature Reserve.

I’m often hesitant about movies that seem way overhyped, but The Odyssey was actually pretty decent. Now to spend the day buried in Greek Mythology.

Had a wonderful time presenting the Natural History Museum’s livestream last night, giving a first look at the fantastic new exhibition, Jurassic Oceans! 🐟 The exhibition looks amazing, and it was great to speak with some of the scientists who brought it all to life. 👏

So in the Bluesky user map, I find myself sitting in the Palaeontology Researchers and Educators. Which is fair. But we definitely have the best neighbours. 🌈💃

I am constantly blown away by how weird and wonderful nature can be! 🦈 This remarkable fossil is believed to be the lower jaw of a Helicoprion, an extinct group of shark-like fish that lived more than 270 million years ago during the Permian. Its mouth was basically a buzz saw. 🤯

I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Jane Goodall in Cambridge back in 2017. She had a wonderful sense of humour, and I certainly left that conference feeling a lot more optimistic about the world. 💚 At the age of 91, she was still actively involved in her movement to protect wildlife.
