i think armand is made to seem slimmer bc of his assad's wardrobe. assad is muscular but they dress him in looser fitting clothes to help him look like a boy in men's clothing. lestat’s suit jackets & shoulder pads do all the heavy lifting. he's really slim and only half an inch taller than louis.
