This morning I visited the main distribution center for the Tarrant Area Food Bank, one of the largest food banks in DFW. Pallets of food normally circulate through these shelves every 24-48 hours — but this morning, entire rows sat empty as the need for food has skyrocketed.

I’m now in downtown Phoenix, where a group of about 50 people has gathered in another protest against Trump admin. No clear organizer. Group is much younger, most wearing all black with PPE. Kendrick Lamar playing. NLG observers writing phone numbers on arms.
