The battle with the red pen is over. Only slightly prolonged by a kitten who does not approve of my computer usage.

THE LAST LIFEBOAT When the world is ending, what do you prioritize? Will you save yourself or those who can’t get out of bed? For five medical professionals the choice is clear, they’ll let the world burn before they give up on their patients. #DVParty #A #SS #ND

As a teacher I try to have books that I know my age level will be interested in, I ask them for input, at different reading levels. This makes it so lots of kids can approach my bookshelf. I agree that a lot of topics can be written in ways that younger kids can understand and appreciate.

Emily Shete @emilyshete.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I may have a title for my book. Maybe. Why is this so much harder than writing the 80,000 word novel?

I have a lovely scene where my characters distract themselves from the end of the world by reading some smutty books. They fully support the romance genre.

I think Robert has the most fun. He doesn't get injured, which is more than most of them can say. He take full advantage of every opportunity to tease Mya about her anxiety. Although Thom's lack of sleep stresses Robert out.

Draft 0 is now Draft 1. My still un-named sci-fi WIP has a complete plot and characters who don't embarrass me. Some Titles I'm considering: Memory of a Name, The Hope of Swarg, or Faith in Fido. Anyway, here's some visual vides that go with the story.

Nope. No thank you. I write sci-fi disaster fiction. I don't want anything to do with the worlds I write. I work in a middle school. My characters would be eaten alive by the children.
