I somehow never saw Dead Poets Society before & it is way weirder than I realized. Also, I am skeptical of the central theme that wealthy private school boys should be encouraged to be *more* smirky, self-expressive and aggressive, I can see some downsides to that theory

The main thing for me is people claiming that, as kids, they saw people jumping, which is exactly what American TV *didn't* show— & I too was in NY & following it all live. At the time, I saw references online to people jumping & my impression was that that footage aired overseas but not in the US

I giggled non-stop through Coyote Vs Acme, which was legit hilarious and also, weirdly touching… I hope it continues to kill at the box office and also, gives Will Forte a career boost, he should be as big a cultural figure as John Mulaney and Andy Samberg
