3/4 It redirected to the roadmap, dropped some heavy jargon, and shut down the conversation. So, I wrote a blog about it — not to call anyone out, but to call us in to share better practices. #MVPBuzz 🧵

2/4 from collaborative to performative and that’s not the kind of community I want to help build as a Microsoft MVP. 💡 I recently saw a great LinkedIn post inviting dialogue around a new feature. Most replies leaned in. One reply… leaned way out. 🧵

In tech communities, how we respond matters just as much as what we know. One thing I’ve noticed is how often open, exploratory conversations get shut down by overly technical replies. Sometimes it’s unintentional. Sometimes it’s a flex. Either way, it can shift the tone 🧵 1/4

Thanks for sharing! I think it’s such an important conversation that we create these open U’s not closed O’s. You’ve always been great at that 🫶🏻

I am overwhelmed by the support our city needs right now. While it may not feel like enough, do what you can. #M365Miami is a small start and I am committed to learning how to do more. It isn’t about #Microsoft for me, it’s about the opportunity for education that everyone should have.

Starting today you can udpate your profile in #Microsoft365 using a new and modern profile editor (replacing the #Delve experience). Go to office.com, search for your name and click on it and find the "Update your profile" button. The team is eager for feedback!

Missing the #ESPC24 party tonight to nurse a bad cold before I present on #UserResearch tomorrow but at least #SpotifyWrapped is here to entertain me. All reggaeton, all the time 💕

Thrilled to see Sean Squires on the big stage at #ESPC sharing solutions like autofill columns to support managing metadata. The better your #InformationArchitecture is, the better your #Search results and #Copilot outputs will be 🤩

The week is finally here - it’s time for @espccommunity.bsky.social! Loved seeing feedback mechanisms to #Copilot in #Outlook for email message prioritization in the keynote

Thanks, Marc! My last trip here was with you for SEF. I remember going to Lisa Elmqvist with you and @toddklindt.bsky.social 🍤 Meal and a show of “what will Todd eat?” 😂

I think it welcomes more people to explore their technical abilities as well when we focus on language about our approach 🧠 As an information architect, there may be some low code and pro code solutions that interest me though I am primarily no code.
