After travelling most of September it was good to be sitting at my writing desk editing this morning. I’ve finished all of the small edits within my chapter, onto the bigger ones now!

It been a while since I wrote some #poetry The silence stood still. Motionless. Solitary. He stood beside it. Tall, like a soldier. Face, in a grimace. Arms, folded. Waiting. For what? No-one knew. #WritingCommunity

A cafe in Japan where you enter & revisit your past but you cannot change it. You have to complete your revisit before the coffee cools. Very interesting in terms of relationships and regrets, I guess. There are 4 separate stories. It's the first in the series, apparently. Your thing?

I was on a training course yesterday. It was about using Copilot in a work environment. As a #writer it made me feel really uncomfortable. I love writing my own emails. I don't think I need any help thanks!

I get that too. I don't give up on books either even if I'm not enjoying them. You do get something from it and that can only be a good thing. I remember reading a book in my 20's that was so slow. I finished it, I was determined to.

Okay, so I've a new writing project in my head from last year's experience. It's a memoir. One I have to get down. With regret, I have to shelve Maddie & Alec's story but will get back to it asap. Today I have added 350 words to my memoir. 1211 words so far!
