Generally speaking I love living alone, but I admit there are times when it would be nice to have someone to clean the blood off the kitchen floor and feel sorry for me a bit. (Am fine. Stubbed a toe in such a way the nail came off is all.)

Agreed. Separatism's a big thing, but also a thing we'd get a separate "just this thing" vote on. The thing that I really don't like is the "we're going to effectively bar a bunch of little Muslim and Sikh kids from public school" thing. Gonna write SO many letters to my MNA.

My choir was giving out free tickets to see Iestyn Davies sing Handel tonight. What a fabulous evening. Amazing musicians accompanying him too, les Violons du Roy, who included a bass lute among other things. Just brilliant. He was so _nimble_.

Small Beloved Child saw an octopus kite when he was two and was obsessed with the Octopus in the Sky. When i found Octopus Shocktopus, about a giant octopus that falls from the sky to live in a small town, it was my Best Aunt Move Ever. We read it eight times in a row immediately.

The person I read about was seated in one spot on the floor, but absolutely! I do not know nearly enough to know if that kind of muscle use would be risky, but I bet your surgeon and a physical therapist would be able to advise.

(Not a doctor, obvs.) I read somewhere years ago about a dancer who for medical reasons could not use their lower body and developed choreography using exclusively upper limbs, finding ways to be creative within a constraint (like a poet using a strict form). That might be worth asking about.

... not that it really, really matters except in an "every vote matters" sense. My riding has had the same borders for nearly as long as I've been alive, and has had a representative from the same party the whole time except for a few months when the MNA left the party and was promptly replaced.

Quebec election seems, as usual, to be a choice between "party who is not going to do much that I particularly like" and "party who cares about a lot of things that I care about, like transit and infrastructure and culture, but is also weirdly racist so not an option for my actual vote."
