I'm negative for H. pylori which feels like a good thing but then why do I have intestinal metaplasia and gastritis flares even on 40 mg of pantoprazole coupled with a highly controlled diet 😩

Day 15 and I'm fibermaxxing and hydrating and I can feel something loading but it's like, stuck in limbo I'm going to drink some hot broth and go for a walk and then maybe take a warm bath if that doesn't work. And once I've collected, then I'm taking a famotidine and having a gin and tonic.

Day 12 of 14 of no pantoprazole, this time with no famotidine: I feel it 🫠 This is also now the time when I'm looking at what antibiotics I might be prescribed and since two of the potential players are amoxicillin and tetracycline, I've messaged my GI about an amoxicillin allergy test

Day 6 of 14! I've been taking pepcid before bed, watching my diet like a hawk (we had a heritage potluck yesterday and my Nigerian coworker made jollof rice and all I could do was smell it 😭), and utilizing the wedge pillow when Zissou doesn't steal it. Still feeling okay!

This is gonna be TMI but I keep having to take Zofran and I keep dealing with, y'know, the side effects. If Dr. Barry Marshall is on here, I would like to propose he develop better diagnostics for a follow-up project. If he's looking to hire dedicated scientists, I'm not dedicated enough to drink H. pylori on purpose but I am affected by gastritis enough to want better for myself and others.
