Why you should always buy a author copy before distributing, especially if your an indie author- (Like... online it looked great, bleed lines looked good and page count was right, what happened lol TwT) #booksky #authors #writingcommunity #books

When you want to see the hights of your characters... and realize the dule protagonists are just the short gremlin and tired tall one trope. (I mean... at least Krynn's short for his species lol) #booksky #YA #scifi #fantasy it's actually scifi-fantasy :D #slowburn #OC #Self-publishing

There was a bit of back and forth, but iv decided to do a small batch print of Bluejay Odyssey. I wanted to make the physical copy's a bit more special, so I'm making chapter art! There will be 24 large/small images, plus a frontispiece. I'll be posting updates on them here 💙📚 #booksky #art #wip

Would it be weird to use symbols to separate different books in a series? I don't want my cover to be nothing but text (love long titles) and using symbols with numbers sounds fun and hint to the story. Example: Sub title: Golden dove Symbol: gold dove #writers #booksky #authors 📚💙

I grew up loving Studio Ghibli movies, and wanted to try recreating a similar art style to Hayao Miyazaki's. I had a couple of his art books to reference but Krynn was pretty difficult. I'm still not sure if I should have gone more beastly with him or humanoid. #art #StudioGhibli #BlujayOdyssey #oc

To help fund publishing the Bluejay Odyssey series, I plan to run some art booths. One of the newer things I want to sell are stickers and keychains. I thought using characters from the series would also help market it. Thoughts on the current vector designs? 💙📚#digitalart #oc #booksky #artadvice
