all that other shit i draw, actually, i'm wasted on. you see, my art style is perfectly calibrated for one thing: drawing this elf

the artist's oc rennuid, a purple elf with inky black hair and a creepy demeanor

painted a sketch biomom made while we looked after my dying grandmother today #artbyzazo

a mixed media painting (color pencil & watercolor) of a wilting pink flower over a scratchy blue backdrop. there are many warm tones, blended into one another in a way that is vaguely reminiscent of wounds or bruises.

it is tilted "the wilting of a flower" and signed "k+z"

status bad. status bad. doing melodramatic grief pre-gaming poetry about it or something and then logging back off

oh the pictures never look like
how looking at it feels

and the feelings never feel like
they're happening for real

we always knew this time'd come
that once and future end

but knowing is just one thing
when seeing's more like ten

all the time spent standing by
at least you didn't run

when it's running what would kill you
when it's running up your bone

all the time 'tween you and i
at least i did not run

when running would've killed me
now that your time has come

no pictures will ever look like
how looking at you feels

and the feelings will never feel like
my time with you for real

we always knew this time'd come
that once and future end

but knowing is just one thing
when seeing's more like ten
