My eyes give out my heart to the right sunrise. That warms and doesn't burn, heat that you invite into your house for coffee. It is an easy embrace that remembers politeness when the weather turns rough. Which knows the way to find the sacred on the lips of honest tandem souls.

I see white butterflies in clusters of two across the way. Spinning around together, rising up in the air in courtship rituals. Some come down in a pair, others by themselves. Then, back into the air, they go in the same dance, not always with their last partner. I smiled. That's life.
