Nero & G'raha fight for the top, but I have a big soft spot for women in magical STEM like Y'shtola, Matoya, Mikoto & Lilja. I also support Aenor and her ambitions 🌝

Emera (from Etheirys) doesn't remember her paternal grandmother. She used to take care of infant Em a good deal of the time until she passed. Her father would always tell her: "You have your grandmother's fur"

"emmer-ah" but my one good friend has taken to pronouncing it "Em-meer-a" and I liked it and decided that characters from all over *would* pronounce it with a variety of accents and now I've been making a list of who and what accents.

A little reminder. #art #illustration

A digital drawing with smaller panels inside of which are different labdscapes, and on top is the text ”as I watch the trees prepare for a season of rest I am reminded that I can do that too”, the landscapes feature mushrooms, hills, a lighthouse and flowers.

I was already kind of chewing on if this would be an expansion for Emera to helm, mostly because I'm tired of msq splitting Kalhir from G'raha, then I imagined Emera and & Nero fangirling/fighting over the airship's design & it was kind of set. But she wasn't on the heavensward road trip. 🤔

I've been swamped this month moving, but every day I do a little bit to update my characters and it really helps me hold on through the stress and all the other stupid things that happen, like my brakes going out =/ anyway, reshaped the wings to go with her new antennae and cleaned up her neck

Emera from Etheyris, in particular, has traumatic abandonment issues that stem from her parents, Cid, G'raha & Nero. Though those still alive have since returned to her life & will be atoning daily forevermore....except Cid. He gets a pass.

What baffles me is that they literally took time & energy out of their day to specifically do this to you. During frontlines? When they should be playing the game? Wild.

A reminder for my fellow creatives: if you do not take breaks, your mind is going to take them for you. And you're not going to enjoy how it does that.

I would say half sound right but half are extremely off. Most importantly, I would argue straight woman for Viera male & that Miqote female transcends gender & sexuality. As an afab aroace that my friends have dubbed "omnigender", I'm shocked fem lala are under "straight woman"

The reason it takes me hours to do a gpose session is that I have to commit to the whole scene's worth of shots for a comic in one session or get pissy about potential continuity errors. That and I'm usually multitasking a voice call with the besties while they stream something. 💙✨✨

I open CSP so I can make sure the shots compositionally fit in the layout I've sketched. Then I'll put a camera down with the background angle I want, rough character positions/angles & take a few screenshots. Load it into CSP to check before I lock the camera. The rest kind of goes from there.

I really WANT to use my Tumblr. The media quality is better, post body options are better and I don't truly care about engagement...but I have to start by actually populating it and I get paralyzed by being overwhelmed. It's a goal of mine to get through that. 💃

He did it, they both get knocked unconscious. He wakes up & realizes he's in love with her and straight up dips. Then Emera wakes up and realizes that she can now FEEL wherever the fuck he is in the world because he took some of her with him. She totally crashes out about it.
