the FCC thing was wrong on my part, my apologies, it's actually due to the cable providers wanting networks to have new programming, which is why boomerang airs this preschool show at 6 AM while disney xd airs armorsaurs exclusively

071

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 22/11/2025

oh i get it, so they're deliberately putting long hiatuses for shows like this, totally spies, looniversity, & previously TDI so when there comes a month where they don't have anything, they just pick it up again to abide to FCC laws (mandate where they need new programming) youtu.be/Qxwe5hGzU1U

disney's primary target being nuclear families or just parents who know their kid fucking loves disney is why these remakes have been successful, disney adults as much as people highlight them aren't really a huge factor

081

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 18/11/2025

the mind of parents in nuclear families is taking their children to literally anything that's kid-oriented in the theater, especially if it's disney, so yeah, sadly this is an easy profit

I honestly think that the thing I love most about "Smiling Friends" is how often it demonstrates that a change in animation techniques for a character or a scene or whatever can in and of itself be the best gag you can conceive - and proving you don't necessarily have to be in the know to 'get it'.

let's celebrate by putting the entire series on an actual streaming service again

i think i would have less of a problem with this if they didn't develop and produced this dangerously close to the animated TV-series-turned-sequel

ben 10 fans got two options to watch the show legally: • using the shitty CN app (or sling freestream) • buying the shitty, incomplete, and expensive DVD

the most disney did with him in recent years was a 5 second cameo in the quickly forgotten chip 'n dale film so i can't even feel sad about this disney legit confirmed they were too pussy to put jessica rabbit into anything alongside him so they may as well give back the rights

had a feeling season 7 was gonna be the show's last considering how long ago CN/WB greenlit this and the movie. since that movie's 100% about the void, it's totally being treated as a wrap up for the entire show (ENG: "The Amazing World of Gumball" might be ending) www.tvlaint.com/2025/11/el-m...

2102

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 08/11/2025

this is 100% because they keep overstocking retail places (and gamestop) with these figures, that's why you usually see a fucking mountain of them. i can't even feel bad about this, this is self-inflicton lmao

0142

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 07/11/2025

disney channel treated it good for like a month before banishing it to 8 AM with no reruns and disney xd, while treating it better, had to have the final season of the show air there and barely ever gave it reruns after it ended speaking of which, why the fuck did it end????

3144

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 07/11/2025

the show's unpopularity after it ended can be entirely blamed on how both disney channel and disney xd aired them

we baby bears hasn't finished its run in the US (they got two arcs left and europe finished the show back in april) so after they air all the episodes, this is legit all they have left aside from cartoonito. this is sad.

192

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 04/11/2025

wait if we baby bears is over then CN legit got like two shows left to premiere domestically and zero shows from cartoon network studios to premiere at all

3153

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 04/11/2025

i think the biggest misconception of this show was that people blamed mindy kaling for it existing when mostly all she did was voice act the titular character. the show was created by a former SNL writer charlie grandy, a white guy, so it kinda explains why the humor is so... ass

22310

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 04/11/2025

i highly find it hilarious how CN, who only has 11 hours, has been increasingly getting better at their schedules while AS is increasingly getting worse

082

emmie. 🇵🇸🏹✊🏿🇯🇲 @emeraldappul.bsky.social · 28/10/2025

the CN website might have been dormant but the final stage of it literally was just a desktop (and much easier to navigate) version of the app that still exists. if you were purging off its content off hbo max to begin with, why even redirect it to that specific hub?

airing the correct episode on the channel no one has is a colossal fuck-up, i gotta applaud disney XD for that one

This is getting ridiculous...

Disney Channel accidentally aired a season 1 episode of Kiff in place of the season 2 episode that was meant to air TODAY... which ended up airing on Disney XD instead.

We don't know how this happened and we're not even sure *why* this would happen
