Drawings combining plant and animal features, from my senior exhibition back in May. I haven't shared a lot of these on Bluesky yet, so I'll be trying to post them over the next few days. #drawing #finearts #fantasy #plant #pastels

A chalk pastel drawing of a fly made of plant material. Its absence is a blooming pink flower, and its head is another pink bud. It has six spindly stems for legs, and two large wings.

A creature with a body of dark green rounded leaves, and a bushy tail of small pinkish violet flowers.

A rodent with a round body and a bushy tail arching above it, the creature being made up entirely of pinecones.

A creature with legs and flowing appendages along its back that are made of long pink petals. Its two heads are looking behind it, with long necks ending in small green plant buds.

Redesigned and old gem oc this week! Ignore the awful quality of the Old image lol (circa september 2021). Tbh the whole reason I changed their species is because I didn't like the drawing with no ear lol

A drawing done primarily in alcohol marers of a standing figure. They have four arms, one hand on their chin, one holding their elbow, one on their hip, and one resting at their side. They have turquoise skin and gold, half-shaved hair with the ends dyed blue. Each hand has two gold bracelets, and they are wearing a geometric halter top and wide blue shorts with a gold chain. Their ear is pointed, with a small gague earring.

The same figure, but drawn in 2021 with colored pencils. They have no ears, and have a circular gemstone embedded on their cheek and stomach. Their shorts are much more fitted, and there is a dark teal cardigan wrapped around their waist. The camera quality is as grainy as oatmeal.

I've been making a lot of art the past few months and I'm excited to share it with y'all :) This is actually based off a crazy pic of like some moss or lichen or something I found on the ground years ago. Thought it looked kinda like a bird or something. #bird #plant #moss #drawing #pastelart

A drawing done in chalk pastel. At the bottom is a tangle of blanket moss (or maybe some other plant, I'll be honest I don't know. It's made up of various jagged tendrils). Rising from the tangle is a figure that looks bird-like, with what is assumedly the head looking up and to the left as it spreads its mossy wings. The drawing is made with three colors: light green, a pinkish red, and a dark purple.

Progress image, showing only the red base and some green highlights.

Even earlier progress image, showing only the red base of the drawing.

I call this Squirrel, because I'm very creative and good at naming things. Don't ask about Squirrels 1 and 3, I have my Reasons. Anyways, this was me practicing with using more color in my drawings, including utilizing color paper! #squirrel #drawing #colorful #contemporaryart #experiment

Another class series, my favorite is the one with the deer tree skeleton dude :) #oilpainting #oc #originalcharacters

A small series I did for a drawing class. Each image features a threatened plant species that grows in the United States. The first image was a smaller trial drawing I made before the others. The plants are running buffalo clover, Nellie's Cory cactus, and Mead's milkweeds. #plant #drawing

A couple drawings of probably my favorite oc, Betty. They're just a person made of fire who has a passion for pants, and I love that for them. #originalcharacter #oc #fireperson #flame #drawing

A person made of fire with a round flame head. They are wearing blue floral pajamas and sitting in a kitchen chair with their feet up on the counter. They are playing guitar, and seem to be the primary light source of the room, casting a warm glow on the surrounding pots and pans.

Various outfit designs for the aforementioned flame person. In the top left, he has a metal headband, meant to look like an arrow going through his head, and he is wearing yellow pants with a white, blue, pink, and yellow patchwork baggy T-shirt. Towards the right of the image, they are sporting a blue diamond-patterned sweater vest with ripped jeans, and a pot on their head like a backwards baseball cap. There's a blue star keychain hanging on the end of the pot's handle. Towards the bottom, they are wearing the same pot, but without a keychain, and they have pink pants with an unbuttoned short sleeved shirt, which is black with winding pink and blue lines. Finally, in the bottom left of the image is this character lounging in a beanbag chair, wearing orange pants, a white tank top, and a long sleeved maroon button up with yellow vertical stripes.

It may be a bit until I share the art here because I want to slowly add a backlog of art from the past year, BUT: If I were to redesign #stardewvalley characters, which one should I start with?

Trying to remind myself Bluesky exists. Anyways, here's a photo dump of some animal watercolors I did a couple semesters ago. I can't remember if I've posted them yet and I'm too lazy to check lol #watercolor #animalpainting

A watercolor painting of a brown tabby cat shown from her front. She only has two legs, which are adorned in blue jeans. She looks very polite.

A watercolor painting of two pelicans and as Brown and black duck. The three birds are sitting in a grassy field, with a brown, stony river and some small trees visible behind them.

A watercolor koi fish painting. Many areas of the painting have been left white to create an effect of tippling water surrounding the koi fish. There are three fish in total, swimming in winding patterns across the page, each of them primarily white with orange and black spots freckling their scales.

A watercolor painting of a cockatiel with a yellow head and a bright orange cheek. He is sitting on the rim of a coffee mug at the edge of a table. The background is a cloudy mix of teal and yellow splashes, and the cup is decorated with black ivy patterns and an orange interior.

I've been uploading on Instagram but I keep forgetting bluesky exists as well lol Anyways, here's a gem oc I made years ago but only recently redesigned. Their name's Moonstone and before becoming a crystal gem they were a rare entertainer for upper-crust gems. #stevenuniverse #oc #originalcharacter

Been wanting to get back into writing lately. The best part? I get to reread stories other people have written and see what I like about them. The worst part? I also have to reread my own works I've written in the past 😭

My rendition of Camp Counselor Mila from the podcast Camp Here and There! I actually drew this quite a while, but I wanted to redo it to see how I had improved :) #camphereandthere #redraw

A drawing of a girl with tan skin and rainbow freckles, showing her from the chest up. Her hair is dyed neon orange and chin length, pulled up in a half ponytail. She's looking at the viewer and smiling with her tongue out, and she's wearing a black tank top with light blue overalls that have a sun patch on the front pocket. Her eyes are multicolored: brown with green and yellow sketches. The background is a collection of large yellow and light blue splotches.

An drawing of the same girl from the first image, though this drawing was made several months before. The shading is less intense, her hair is in a full ponytail, and her eyes are solid brown, plus she's wearing a shark tooth necklace and a whistle on her neck. She's winking and has sunglasses on her head. The eyes are less detailed, and the shading is much less intense. The background is a solid light blue. The linear is slightly rougher and some proportions are not as neat as the first drawing.

A portrait of my very best friend and also her cat :)

A digital cartoon drawing of a girl with long brown hair and a blonde streak, wearing a pink dress. In her arms is a massive, fluffy orange tabby cat. The cat is half her size. He's seriously massive. Anyways, both the girl and the cat are looking at the viewer and smiling, the girl having an excited expression on her face. The background is a purple pink radial gradient with white sparkles.

They are best friends and also boyfriends but in a genderless forest spirit type of way :)

A picture of my arm, where there is a drawing in paint pens of two apple-looking creatures called junimos holding hands and blushing. One junimo is blue and the other is green, and there's a small pink heart between them.

An adventurer in a strange place 👀🔥⛰️ This was part of a challenge to stick to a specific color palette, and I had lots of fun making it! - - - - - #drawing #draw #drawingchallenge #colorpallette #pallette #paintpen #cave #explorer #adventurer #oc #originalcharacter #torch #blueflame #fire #fantasy

A drawing with the media of paint pens and black ink pens. The drawing shows a girl with dark pink skin, medium pink hair in braids, and an adventurer's outfit, looking in wonder at the landscape around her while holding a torch with a blue flame. Around her is a completely black and white cave with stalactites and stalagmites, the only color coming from her torch casting the cave in a blue hue.

So I'm gonna actually try to slowly get back into posting now. Aside from my first bluesky post, I haven't shared anything anywhere since January lol. I haven't had tons of time for personal art, but I've definitely still got lots of projects to share with y'all :)

Hello, guess who's on Bluesky now! For the many people out there who don't know me, I'm a small artist from Instagram who shares lots of fan art, OCS, and whatever else I feel like drawing! As my first post, have this drawing of my OC DJ :)

A paint-pen drawing in a cartoon, jagged style of a girl standing to the side with an orange hoodie, shorts, and sneakers. She has a light blue ponytail that reveals an undercut, and she has purple scales on her cheeks and upper leg. Behind her is an outstretched purple wing
