Encounter board all modge podged and lightly sand scattered for a basic texture. Once that's fully dried, spray undercoat will happen. Then basic colours ahead of rocks and things, flock, bushes, mud, and all that good stuff. #miniterrain

At night, when the grounds are closed for the day, the keepers of the main mosque in #Sarajevo put out food, and the occasional box lid, for the stray cats of the city. They have a safe place at night. Gorgeous.

Travelled to #Visegrad for thr bridge there. If you've ever read 'The Bridge on the Drina' you'll know why this is a special place. It's well worth a read if you've not. Sadly, there's not a lot in Visegrad apart from the bridge and related museums. Worth two half days and one night.

#Sarajevo is a beautiful place, but a hard one too. Before I post lots of tourist pics, I want to acknowledge what the criminal Serb forces did here, that they still refuse to accept they did. They committed a genocide here. Recently, they buried one of the architects of that crime as a hero.

So happy to add this to my library. #TheBedSittingRoom is a piece of 1960's surrealist genius. It has the most incredible cast, including British theatre royalty. I was baffled by it as a kid, but learned to love it on later viewing. It's currently on Prime if you've not seen it. Recommended.

Went to #BarterBooks in #Alnwick this past weekend. Barter is absolutely one of my top 5 places in the world (so far). Such a wonderfully dangerous shop. Came back with a 1950's Folio Society 4 volume collection of The Thousand Nights and The One Night. Coz it was necessary.

Very much enjoyed Hard Times, currently running on Netflix. Walter Hill's directorial debut, and he wrote the screenplay. Cracking cast, with Coburn in particular standing out. A gorgeously spare script, slow boiling and tight.

Many moons ago, I tried a screen grab from the Monty Python sketch about the most dangerous joke in the world. All that came out was the subtitle. Weirdly, this created an image that sums up so much of the world right now, especially the #GamesIndustry in which I work. We all deserve better leaders.
