That liver shot DID scare him. He was expecting his barrier to tank it, but his expectations were shattered when the strike tore through the time barrier just to hit him. His eyes bulged and he reeled back as he was struck, coughing out blood onto Inanis' face. "HRKK-" It hurt. Very bad.

But Ryu wasn't done yet. Ryu gave a cocky smirk, kicking the pipe onto his shoulder before running towards Inanis, piercing him through the stomach by kicking it into his abdomen. The kick alone hurt like a bitch, but from Ryu's look on his face, you could tell there was more.

Ryu got up after the blasts, swapping to his Metal Pipe style; twirling it in his right hand. The goat zipped towards Inanis with pure malice in his gaze, delivering a bloody swing to his left in an attempt to disorient. Following the swing, he slammed the pipe down on his head.

Ryu parried the hook to the jaw and followed through with a gut strike, but he couldn't do anything to stop the gravity slamming him to the ground. He couldn't move, which lead into the guaranteed series of blasts which made his EVERYTHING hurt. It wasn't poison.. wait. Stars.. was it radiation?

Even after that devastating strike, Ryu wasn't finished. He followed through with a second strike- turning his body to go for a left hook extension. It wasn't a Black Flash, but it was still just as devastating; following through with Crash and Burn, one of his named skills.
