Highly recommending going to the forest to just exist, if you can. At least every once in a while. You kinda forget all of the world's worries, and for a moment only you the forest are there.

Redesign of Lemona, my deepsea anglerfish mermaid!💛 She's talkative, but gets anxious easily and often doesn't want to be the one to start the conversation, fearing her excessive talking will annoy others. She also tends to be an overthinker and is quite moody. #EmBBuArt #OC #OCsky

Laine (he/they)! He's arrogant, snooty and often considered "a lot to handle". The common roach is often claimed to be a "trash fish", making Laine afraid of being looked down on. He's suspicious of others, but loves attention and needs a lot of validation to stay happy. #EmBBuArt #OCsky #OC

Creik and Derick! ❤️ I initially started drawing this back in 2020, but it was one of those big works I never felt like I was ready to finish. The task seemed too big. ...Until now, that is! It's amazing what you're able to do when you just trust the process. >8'D #EmBBuArt #OCsky #OC

Remember that dress drawing meme that was floating around xitter back then? And there were also some photos of suits too? I started drawing Rika and Perrin wearing those clothes and then it got stuck in wip hell, whoops- BUT! Now it's finished! Hope you peeps like the ladies! 💙💚 #EmBBuArt #Pokémon

OH MY GOODNESS yes yes yes what a cool design!! Absolutely loving the little glowing parts and how long the tail is! Hope you don't mind me sharing, as I remembered this older art of mine too; I have a dragonfish OC with similar glowing spots and a narrowtail moray! Long tails are just so cool! ;O;

It's been ages since I drew a proper reference of one of my favorite OCs; Roi! He's a proud lamprey eel merman who suffers from toxic masculinity; trying to suppress who he really is. Despite his cocky appearance, he has a heart of gold and cares deeply for those close to him. #EmBBuArt #OCsky #OC

4. Favorite OC design Alpiini! She's a shy, skittish tiefling ranger and also a hopeless romantic. I was so proud of myself when I created her, because I generally have some trouble with designs, but with her I was able to design clothing that I was happy with. 💜 #EmBBuArt #OCsky #OC

OC lore train 🌿 explain your OC’s lore in the worst way possible Local asshat doesn't understand why not caring about others is such a big deal. Considered to be one of the cunning witches alive to the point where his entire soul gets sealed away, yet he still gets outsmarted by a fish.

2124

EmBBu 🦇 @embbu.bsky.social · 08/01/2026

3. Favorite OC It just has to be Neva. He's a sly self-centered witch who cannot stand anything going wrong for him, yet it feels like something constantly goes wrong, much to his annoyance. All he wants right now is to get his soul and powers back from the bottom of the ocean. #EmBBuArt #OCsky #OC

My OC, Valo (he/they)! ✨🐟 He's an eel merperson with bad self-esteem and a lot of traumas due to his past of being in a cult. I wanted to portray his anxiety and how he feels trapped and being watched. #EmBBuArt #EmBBuOC #oc #ocsky

1. Oldest OC A hard question! I made many OCs as a child; Mainly Pokémon, fakemon, Ham-hams, cats, dogs and magical girls. I enjoyed making comics, especially about animals with powers and my original species! I also never finished any of the comics I started-- These are the oldest scans I found!
