For this #WIPWednesday, have some pining, pathetic King Price!

King John Price was a bundle of nerves. His guts were rolling. He had butterflies. He was for sure going to throw up.

He shifted once more in his carriage as it climbed the road to the castle of King John MacTavish. A cruel irony to share a name with a neighboring king. “All hail King John!” Which one? Most people are kind enough to say both, but Price knows the truth: the dragon king, John MacTavish has the hearts of his people, and an alliance is long overdue.

Price is not a man easily flustered, but he is flustered today, and over a man no less. King MacTavish has an emissary. A beautiful, gorgeous, intelligent emissary. Kyle Garrick. A man with a sharp jaw, and sharper eyes. He'd made Price feel both relaxed and on edge. He had him laughing all while systematically pointing out everything he had been doing wrong as king.

And Price wants him. Platonically, romantically, carnally. All the ways, or any way that Kyle would allow. Price would beg, plead, would even give up his crown just for the attention of one man. Price scoffed quietly to himself and minutely adjusted his trousers. He needed to get a grip. He was here to talk to King MacTavish, not Kyle, as much as his heart yearns to see the man again.

I've seen him as a cat shifter, but never as a cath sith

Cath Sith
In the Highlands of Scotland, the Cath Sith or Fairy Cat is a great black cat the size of a large dog. It has a white blaze upon its chest and its hair sticks up all over its arched back. The Cath Sith bears all the hallmarks of the existing Scottish wild cat, being both fierce and highly secretive. The Cath Sith appears as the blazon of many Highland clans which show a cat ready to strike with outstretched claws. The legend "touch not the cat bot [except with] a glove/targe (a small round shield], is the cap badge motto of the Mackintoshes, the MacPhersons, and the MacBains.

We love chaotic brothers Soap and Gaz in this house. Have a WIP

Soap carefully lay the leaf upon a bed of waiting soil, tucking the stem into the dirt. Once covered, he put the jar upside down over the cutting and finally turned to face his captain of the guard. Kyle “Gaz” Garrick was lounging in a chair, legs kicked over one of the arms, playing idly with a bag of pebbles he had procured from… somewhere. He noticed the king’s gaze and grinned lazily up at him. “Sup, bitch?”

Have a WIP for this WIP Wednesday. Snake-Shifter Ghost is having fun!

Price grinned again and looked away to grab something out of his desk. "Good lad." He resurfaced with a cigar. He flicked his eyes over toward Soap while he trimmed it and tutted. "Now, Simon, don't make an ass out of yourself. He was kinder than Gaz. Do you want your heated lamp?"
Ghost turned and looked at the captain before flicking his tongue out and hissing. Price's eyebrows raised up to beneath his boonie as Ghost proceeded to crawl into Soap's shirt, circling his torso, and settling like a living belt. Soap blinked at his captain, lost. Price looked similarly lost. He shook his head and huffed. "Well, lad, I suppose you're his new favorite heat source. Good luck."
