The markdown formatter in @biomejs.dev is coming along very well! Our infra imports Prettier tests and creates snapshots. If snapshots are deleted, it means the Biome matches Prettier. The more deletions we have, the better!

We started working on the Roadmap 2026 of @biomejs.dev ! Here's my wishlist

- Stabilise YAML. We're almost there with parsing, then we can enable formatting. Another big win!
- Improve HTML-ish languages story. My wish and end-goal is having a `noUnusedStyles` (name TBD) rule that catches unused CSS classes defined in the `<style>` block (svelte eslint has this rule IIRC). One day, we could use the module graph to catch all unused classes.
- Improve the LSP capabilities. We have now a module graph, we can provide a lot of goodies
- SCSS support. It's our most requested feature, I believe we should explore it

It's merged! The next alpha/beta release @astro.build will support @vite.dev Environment APIs! It took a long time because we had to re-architect the whole rendering pipeline. With this, even the @cloudflare.social Vite Plugin will work out of the box!

Here's a few reminders, folks: - OXC and Biome emit two different data. AST vs CST. CST requires more work - OXC uses a fork of Biome formatter infrastructure, same as Ruff (python formatter). At least, we don't repeat the work, and hopefully Biome will get some credits :)

The next version of @biomejs.dev will ship more features via editor. For example, you can decide to apply specific code actions without touching the configuration:

A portion of the settings.json file that belongs to VSCode, where users can apply the code actions that belong to useSortedKeys and useConst rules.
