Finished up a set for my friends in Cleveland based progressive death metal band Amalgamation. This set features a J/MM hybrid design, using A5 rod magnets, 43awg wire, 18.2k bridge and 17.3k neck. The laser etch is artwork from the band, including their logo. #elysianpickups #tunedaperture

Wrapped up this Trans Flag topped Tele bridge pickup last night. Features A5 poles, 43awg wind, and felt using white in the logo really set things off. Look out for our trans homies, they need us now more than ever. #elysianpickups #tunedaperture #fucktrump #transrights #transrightsarehumanrights

Added a new multiscale listing to the website today, for the ESP LTD M-1007MS and M-1008MS models. I made the 7 string version ages ago, and recently a customer who owned the 8 string version helped me adapt my design for the 8. This set has our Trident II/Hellfire Hybrid wind. #elysianpickups

Tool changes work perfectly every single time now, the tool cannot fall off, and it will always properly mount to the carriage on the gantry because the bolts offer a positive stop, pushing the toolhead down onto the carrier. This has been a total game changer. Next job is adding a 48v power supply.

Elysian Pickups @elysianpickups.com · 27/08/2026

Been having 3d printer issues, most likely entirely self-inflicted, so decided to fix them once and for all. My toolchanger setup was using a sort of French clear setup to hold the toolheads when not in use, but this left a lot to be desired. I redesigned this to use bolts, vid in the next post.

Picture shows a Stealthchanger dock for my Voron 2.4 350mm, with a pair of bolts sticking out the front. I'm wearing an Alf T-shirt that says "TRUST ME BRO," and Alfs face is perfectly framed in the dock

Picture shows a 3d printer hot end next to a dock that uses bolts for mounting.

My Trident II/Hellfire Hybrid with a ceramic bar magnet would be sick there. Sorry for the delay, hadn't looked over here for a minute, been fighting with my 3d printer 🤣

This combination gives an extreme amount of clarity, perfect for when the gain starts stacking. Check out this super quick demo I put together this morning. Used Fortin Nameless X and NTS for the guitar tone, my Yamaha BB235 bass, and EZ Drummer 3 for the drums. #elysianpickups #tunedaperture

What's more fun than black chrome open faced covers? Clear bobbins with black chrome open faced covers! This is a wind I don't even offer anymore, the K2A. This wind is a whopping 27k DC resistance, but pairs that super high wind with an A2 bar magnet, bringing the output down to medium levels.

And here we go, finally. Been working on these all week, and finally finished today, thanks to some remakes. Really happy with how they came out though, and the customer is ecstatic, and that's what really matters. #elysianpickups #tunedaperture #fucktrump #abolishmaga #transrightsarehumanrights

What would you do for a neck pickup in this instance? I would love to do Trogdor the Burninator, but I can't figure out how to get ahold of the Homestarrunner guys, which is funny because their content was entirely built on emails.

Got a pretty classy Schecter Reaper 7MS bridge pickup fresh off the bench this morning. This has our Trident II wind, gold hex poles, and a ceramic bar magnet. Walter is such a Texas dog. During the recent heat wave here in Ohio he was still outside lounging on the deck. He loves warm weather.

It's worse by an order of magnitude, it's a humongous difference. One of the other surprising things is that the Facebook algorithm boosts the hell out of anything political, while Instagram largely doesn't seem to care, algorithm wise.

The last 24 hours have been absurd. Trying my best to ban all the bigots on my Facebook Page, but it's a monumental effort. The one thing I've learned from this is Instagram is way less MAGA than Facebook.
