I've been rescuing praying mantises all week from my two mischievous cats. The cats touch them w/their paws and back off when the mantises' boxing stances scare them. Here's one I gently placed on my tall citronella plant just now, with curious culprits in the background. #PrayingMantis #Cats

It's Fleet Week in San Francisco. I'll never forget working on top floor of my office building, 33 stories up, and seeing pilots faces as they flew by rattling the windows. Out of 262 Blue Angels pilots, 26 have been killed during training or show accidents, giving the job a 10% fatality rate.
