Arsenal do well to be monitoring Rodrygo Goes. It makes so much sense for Arsenal if Real Madrid lower their expectations. It is said Real Madrid want around £84M for him, but the player wants to leave and the club wants to cash in on him. For anything around £50M Arsenal should do it.

Zubimendi coming to the Premier League reminds me a lot of the Rodri transfer. He’s way less physical, so was Rodri in Spain before moving, but he’s way better than Rodri was at that point in pass selection and building up. He takes us another level in possession attack.

I still believe we can do it. Our biggest problem today was the slow build up to our attacks, Thomas will help there in Paris, we will move Rice and Merino back to where they are playing and we will have the chances. It sucks to lose at home but the ladies showed the way.

It’s crazy that the narrative in Spain is: “Arsenal didn’t win it, Real Madrid lost it” We restricted Real Madrid (who needed 3 goals at home) to 0 shots on target in the first half, realistically without the Saliba mistake we could’ve won 0-2 or 0-3. Arsenal won it and deserve all the credit.
