I am fascinated by fanfictions that engage in fictional fandoms. A trend I have seen emerge and spread in the last years. Entire fics of only fake social engagement about fictional characters. Has anyone made a video essay or written about fans creating fictional fandoms?

I have this weird fucking thing in my mind (maybe due to asexuality idk) where I only ever think one man is pretty at a time. For years it was Ben Barnes, then Pedro Pascal, and now the only pretty man is Hudson Williams. I think he's here for the long haul.
