Research assessment is never fully neutral. On 20 May, SNS hosted a discussion on gender bias in academia and more inclusive evaluation practices, bringing together researchers, institutions and the TIER group of CoARA, which presented a toolkit developed through a two-year research project.

✨50 years from today Spain could breath some democratic air after the long Franco’s dictatorship. Democracy needs to be nurtured and practiced every day because, as Rosanvallon righly says, ‘things can go wrong’. Indeed many things still go wrong in liberal democracies today.
