So I made these cute little DIY Easter egg decorations and it got me thinking, should I do a DIY coloring journal?? I’m thinking a natural wood cover with a design on engraved it that you can color yourself. Should I try it??

I definitely keep forgetting this app exists, but I’ll hopefully have more to show you here soon! Things have been slow this year so far, but I’ve been working on a few personal projects I’m very excited to share as soon as I can.

I only do white books by special request because they’re extra tricky to keep clean. My process has improved so that I can make a white book cover with more confidence, but it still takes a little extra work. So if you’ve ever wondered why white is not one of my regular color options, now you know!

The lighting makes this book look like a dark blue, but it’s actually the prettiest color shift.

Did you know I punch holes in every single page of a journal by hand before sewing them all together? Assuming I’m not adding any embellishments to a notebook cover, folding all the pages and punching the holes is the longest part of the bookmaking process for me.

I’m all about those designs that look good on their own, but if you’re in the loop they’re that much better. I definitely feel that with these two.

I’m debuting these custom memory journals today in honor of my dad who passed away a year ago today. They’re filled with prompts to help you remember a loved one who has passed and, like always, full of custom options. elmrosedesigns.etsy.com/listing/1823...

These extra large Coptic journals are always some of my favorites to make. They’re twice as big as my normal campaign journals and can still be customized to your liking. #bookbinding #dungeonsanddragons
