Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 7hSomething fun for Halloween… yep, this’ll be the subject of my speed paint Sunday - join me at 4pm UK time. www.twitch.tv/elmerscarr #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #warhammer 061
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Last one for the week. It’s a female sorceress from Haito Miniatures (I think), via @weprintminiatures.com - I was having a bit of a play with whites on this one - what do you all think? How does it read? #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #magic #warhammer 0211
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Not sure why I’ve decided to put together the Chaos All Stars. Seems like a project. But here are two more for my line up. Galman Goreblade(?) and Duke Luther Von Hawkfire (?) - did I get the names right without checking this time? #miniatures #warhammer #bloodbowl #paintingminiatures #wepaintminis 2323
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 07/10/2026This is where September finished up - only 8 but happy with them all. More Chaos All Stars coming in October. 6 out of 8 here are from @weprintminiatures.com Have a good Wednesday everyone! #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0394
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Yea I zoomed a little too much. Here’s the original. 010
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Female rouge. This is another experiment using Dorn yellow to highlight up the blue. Thoughts? #miniatures #paintingminiatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer #nerdlings 1312
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Ok, for an hours work he’s not come out bad. I think the more I looked at him the more I should’ve gone down a chaos route. I’m going to try and make the Sunday twitch stream a regular thing, so please join me next week. #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0363

Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Thank you! Happy to report I have progress and and it’s ready to post sometime this week 🙂 010
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 03/10/2026WIP - managed to make the dress on my resin miniature look like… well, resin. Well done me. #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 1251
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Hmmm. Yea I see what you mean! Love that game - although it took me a few false starts before I really got into it. 010
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I’d thought about green knight. I did a bronze and electric blue scheme on a giant a while back. That might work as eldritch. 010
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Ok, I’m gearing up for a session on Sunday on Twitch with this awesome little mini from @weprintminiatures.com - but what should the colour scheme be? Am I going celestial paladin, all whites and golds? Or is this chaos? What do you think? #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 3193
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 01/10/2026But of a throwback Thursday - here’s a dryad I did a while back - I mean the whole mini here is really cool. If I were doing it again, I’d print it bigger and make the skin less ‘flat.’ What do you think? #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #fantasyart 0231
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Nice. Those look greatI haven’t leaned into the white so much - I probably should have done. 👻 000
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Been experimenting - and that’s what this is. Which bit looks most ghostly? The blue or the yellow/green? #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 2224
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Both #oldhammer ogres - found at a Carboot a little while ago. Repainted over the last few months. #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #warhammer #dnd 0505
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Happy Monday everyone! Ok, this is the result of my speed paint Sunday. It’s a female Necromancer from @vaevictisminis.bsky.social which I bought from @weprintminiatures.com She come out fine I think. I’ll actually post the twitch link next weekend! #dnd #paintingminiatures #fantasy #miniatures 0295
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Dang it the “live” thing didn’t link my twitch. Never mind. Same time next week?? 000
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 25/09/2026My #FFVII crew grows! All sculpts from RNEstudio, printed by @weprintminiatures.com #paintingminiatures #weprintminis #fantasy #jrpg #miniatures #dnd 0262
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 24/09/2026What am I doing this weekend? “Going live” at 4pm Sunday to paint this little madam. Meaning to get around to this one for a while, so I’m making it this weekend’s “Speed Paint Sunday.” The mini is from @weprintminiatures.com #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0142
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 23/09/2026If you see this, post a blonde #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0241
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 23/09/2026I didn’t take a “before” pic here, but this is the start/finish on this classic bloodbowler - who I am now delighted to call Dietmar Hammerlash. #paintingminiatures #bloodbowl #miniatures #fantasy #warhammer #warhammercommunity 0386
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Further #heman shenanigans. This time it’s the Sorceress in all her #80s glory! #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #mastersoftheuniverse 0757
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 21/09/2026“When Eric eats a banana…” Apparently he get possessed by a mimic. Honestly, the only thing I’m happy with here is the mutation. The yellow is too yellow. It’s come out very cartoony. I’ll revisit this weekend and try to fix it. #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0413
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Yea he’s been done dirty on the new releases… so far… 🦂 001
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Happy Friday folks! Nothing else new so here’s a throwback to my favorite Phoenix lots, Karandras the Shadow Hunter. Used to have this guy on a T-shirt… I kid not! #miniatures #paintingminiatures #warhammer #oldhammer #40k 1492
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Yes I’m playing with my little plastic men again. #heman and #skeletor, designed by RNEstudio, printed by @weprintminiatures.com and painted by me (of course). #paintingminiatures #miniatures #dnd #fantasy #80s #mastersoftheuniverse 2506
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Not technically WIP but I picked up this classic on eBay, base says 1992 - he needs some TLC. The paint is on really thick, almost no detail visible. Feels like this is where my weekend is going. Stay tuned. #warhammer #miniatures #oldhammer #paintingminiatures #40k #nerdlings 3222
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Ironed on classic. But I’ve forgotten his name… Dietmar Hammersmash maybe? Anyway I’ve done him up in classic Chaos All Stars colours - maybe I’ll look into collecting the rest. #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #bloodbowl #warhammer #dnd 2264
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026See a devil girl, post a devil girl #miniatures #nerdlings #fantasy #dnd 0172
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Happy Monday! Following on from last week, I give you the master of evil, definitely a “villain” - Skeletor! 3D print from @weprintminiatures.com #paintingminiatures #miniatures #fantasy #motu #80s #dnd #warhammer 0525
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Happy Friday!! Here is my last post for the week. All angles on the female rogue bust. #miniatures #paintingminiatures #fantasy #dnd #warhammer 0194
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Little bit of a throwback Thursday to this interesting rabbit archer from @weprintminiatures.com that I did about a year+ ago. I tend not to do animal folk, but this is cool. #fantasy #miniatures #dnd #paintingminiatures #warhammer #rabbit 0366
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 09/09/2026360 of the bust I’ve been working. I can see where the errors are so will go back and fix them. What do you think? Should the shadows be darker? How’s the light? #miniatures #wepaintminis #fantasy #dnd #fantasy #paintingminiatures 1223
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 08/09/2026He is a RNEstudio sculpt from @weprintminiatures.com 100
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Ok once again I’m going very pop culture for another new one. Instantly recognisable, it’s Barrett from #finalfantasyvii - I’ve almost got the whole set now so will post the group another day. #miniatures #jrpg #ffvii #paintingminiatures #fantasy #dnd 1568
Elmer Scarr @elmerscarr.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Had a pretty empty weekend so made some progress on a few projects. First up… “I HAVE THE POWER!!” 3D print from @weprintminiatures.com, designed by RNestudio #miniatures #fantasy #motu #heman #80s #paintingminiatures 0214
