If not, then long story short: matt was buying alcohol for the club and was waiting for someone to approve his purchase because it's alcohol. Staff came over and told him they cannot serve him and he needs to leave. They escorted him off the premises. Told him to scan a QR code and speak to the Facewatch security system. He really needed the alcohol so he asked if his colleague could pay. Staff looked confused but said okay.
His colleague paid for the stuff.
Also, the data collected by these facial recognition technology is shared between stores and chains, so someone could easily be banned from supermarkets and stores without even knowing.
As someone with at least two doppelgangers out there myself, I pray that neither of them turn evil anytime soon.

Yeah, i have it mostly sorted now. Had to re edit my work. I still have the chapter to rewrite but thankfully I remember enough that it won't be hard to rewrite. It's more annoying than anything tbh. Just hope it doesnt happen again.

I have looked and I could not find any copies if it saved it as one. I can only think my internet went down and I didn't know, so it didn't save when I came out. I was so shocked but at the same time annoyed. This used to happen with Word frequently which is why i had switched to Goole docs.

I haven't used as many beta readers as I probably should have, but that definitely change. I am going to look for more beta readers when I've finished this draft though, since I would like honest (and unbiased) feedback on how this version actually reads.

Indeed! I usually save editing until after I've finished a first draft. Then after that I edit as a I go. Although it depends on the project and length of it. Is its a short one I will continue to edit after each draft is completed. But longer ones I edit between writing because I am impatient.

It is half complete. I had gutted it after finishing a first draft because it had felt like it had no soul. Now it back to being half completed, but it does read better now.
