The only reason I ever got as into art as I am now is BECAUSE I used it for the same purpose - focusing on identity, gender, themes like queer romance and longing and desire and fear As I started being more active here, I became wary of using my art for working through anything "Messy" or "Bad"

It's a secondary process, yes!! You can technically sell your art on the platform, but until you are verified (meet a certain set of standards over a span of time), you are not a "verified seller" and it's harder to be seen. This is to discourage spam/botting behaviors!
