This one is my own personal fave but also one that i just know is going to sell so very badly haha. Sometimes your own faves are just not the most popular ones apparently! It’s such a big thing i experience all the time. Is it just me?? or do other artists also experience this? 😅😭

I'm working on a project about Dutch folklore! Here's some mermaids for one of the stories! I always thought that I should never post about projects that I haven't finished or i'll jinx it but I thinkmanifesting people are onto something and i'm just gonna post more of my work in the 'idea' stage!!

Some guys!! (might become washi tape 👀). I might also make some masks on wood soon & use these or faces like these to make 'em. But I think these guys would work as lots of things!!!

Stylized smiling face, dark green circle with yellow geometric eyes, nose and mouth, pink cheeks on pale pink background.

i gave some zine workshops a while ago and i never posted the results anywhere. But zines are an amazing way to express feelings & talk about creating a community. This year i’m focusing a lot more on activism and that making art is a rebellion, a way of expressing yourself.

I'm setting up a big local riso poster project, where me and around 40 other artists will create and print riso protest posters. i think the recent 'world updates' have been worrying for a lot of us, and while i'm unable to change big world events I would like to start a local artist movement!!

I think riso is a very interesting way to make animation because it takes way longer than normal animation. Today, a lot of the processes in art are focused on being efficient but printing take all that away. The focus is a lot more on the process that way, and allows to make happy little mistakes.
