Anyways I appreciate the kind words, I've always remembered your efforts a few years back w/ Seattle Gameworks fondly.

myself and others had to fight continually for it because there were some who didn't share our opinion that a serif typeface actually feels more futuristic in 2026 then the most abstract "tech" font, but I'm super happy we were able to hold the line.

...which looks cool to them in the same way Japanese looks cool to english-speakers, but then it gets exported to us, and becomes cool in different way, like it was returned to us, but changed for the better. Hard to describe, but that's what we were trying to capture.

Thanks! Blade Runner titles/Evangelion/Armored Core For Answer inspirations driving that choice. There's always been something so cool to me about Japanese designers using english in their work and their kanji fonts defaulting to something like Times New Roman.
