Being that I’m a crazy person, I’m working on 5 books at once. 1 might need fully rewriting, 1 is a long way off, 2 are done, and 1 is nearly done. That last one I just spent a week trimming off 10k words and it feels much tighter and easier to read. One more edit and maybe it’s done 🤔 #booksky

Alice is thrilled when her wealthy urbanite husband, Richard, finally agrees to go camping. She loves living in Oxford, but nature is where Alice's heart truly belongs.

As the couple tramp through the vast wilderness, Alice's mind drifts back to her youth and how much she loved spending time in the Chevin. Alice is so wrapped up in her nostalgia she doesn't notice Richard has ulterior motives; she doesn't see that Richard doesn't plan to treat the Chevin with the same love and respect she does.

But the woman sees. The woman knows Richard for who he truly is.

And she'll do whatever it takes to protect her woods.

From 96k to 66k, I’ve edited 30k out a portal fantasy novel-in-progress. It’s much tighter and easier to read. This book was meant to be published in March, and I’ve still got no idea what to do with the thing. It was written in 2019/20 and has almost become a permanent side project 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️ #booksky
